’마나‘ 는 초자연적인 힘이자 사람, 장소, 사물 등 어디에도 존재할 수 있는 영적 에너지를 일컫는다. 이 작업에서 흙을 빚는 과정은 각 사물에 고유한 영혼을 깃들게 하는 주술적 제의 이자, 동시에 자연과 사물에 존재하는 다양한 영성과 상호 연결성을 탐구하는데 목적을 둔다. 비정형적인 형태의 세라믹 덩어리들은 생명의 원천인 물 위에 위치하며 자연물과 인공물 사이의 유대를 강조한다.
[Mana] refers to a supernatural force and spiritual energy that can inhabit people, places, objects and anywhere. In this project, the process of crafting clay become a ritual to infuse each object with a spiritual essence, exploring the diverse spiritualities and interconnectedness present in nature and objects. The amorphous ceramic forms are placed on water, the source of life, highlighting the deep connection between natural elements and artifacts.
